Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I wear during the wrap?
A: You should wear light 100% cotton clothing. The pants should be at least to your knee and your shirt should be a tight fitting shirt with at least ¾’s length to full-length sleeves. You will sweat during the wrap; it is advisable to bring an extra change of clothes and undergarments to change into after the wrap.
Q: Is there anything I should do before I get the wrap?
A: You should drink plenty of water the day before, of, and after the wrap. The wrap works the same way as exercising, so you should take in enough water to prevent dehydration. Also, water helps flush the fat and toxins out of your system. Half of your bodyweight in ounces for each day should be efficient. (ex: If you weigh 150lbs., you should drink 75 ounces of water the day before, day of, and day after your wrap)
Q: Will I have to diet and exercise along with the wrap?
A: Doing the wrap is like exercising; however, it is advisable to exercise a little after your wrap. The idea is this: The wrap melts your fat and releases it in your blood stream to be burned off as calories. While in the wrap, you’re automatically going to burn at least 1200 to 1800 calories from fat; however, after the wrap you may still have some remaining fat in your bloodstream. The fatthat remains in your bloodstream is liquefied and extremely easy to burn off, so doing a little bit of exercising afterwards would be extremely beneficial. What is not burned off during the wrap or immediately after the wrap will resettle somewhere else as subcutaneous fat. This fat is easier to loose than cellulite and can be burned off during future wrap or exercising sessions. What is burned off during the wrap is permanent.
Q: How often can I schedule wrap appointments?
A: This depends on your BMI index and your level of current activity. If you are not very active and have a high BMI, then you will want to schedule no more than two appointments a week until your body gets used to the wrap. If you are moderately active and have a normal BMI index, then you can schedule your appointments every other day. This wrap is the same as exercising so you want to begin slowly so your body can get adjusted to it.
Q: How long is the entire wrap session?
A: The wrap session is anywhere from an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. It all depends on you. If you change before you get into the wrap then that adds approximately 10 minutes to the 50 minutes process. It takes us 5 minutes to wrap you. After the wrap, you may take about 10 minutes to clean up and change.
